「福 島以降、私の心は大きく変わりました。子供がはじめて世界を目にするように、私はこの世界を見つめたい、そう思いました。時間は過去には戻れません。だけ れど、歳をとっていても、私たちは子供のような気持ちを持つ事はできます。
人工的なものによ り、この自然はダメージを受けています。地震が原因ではなく、私たちの心のあり方が、自然を傷つけ、人を殺します。汚染物質は世界中に運ばれます。身近な 問題は、大きく地球規模の問題に発展する。そのことをもっと考える必要があります。

日本人は長い間、 自然とともに暮らし、自然を尊重してきました。しかし、現在では自然の重要性を忘れてしまいました。子供だけが、その 自然を直接に感じ取る事ができるのだと思います。そういう訳で、私は子供のように自然に触れてみたいと思いました。
そんな願いが込められた曲です。このアイディアはフランスの作家 ル・クレジオの小説「地上の見知らぬ少年」からヒントを得ました。」

ジャケットのデザインは二人の才能あるデザイナーによるものです。カタカナの"モトミツ”というロゴは谷川徹 によるもの。包装紙風のデザインは遠藤澄子(nanoca design)に よるものです。この紫色のジャケットデザインはシリーズの第3弾です。そして日本とフランスでのリミテッドエディションになります。

Motomitsu: « After Fukushima, I have been thinking about a lot of things and changed my mind. I would like to look at the world with a fresh gaze, as if it was for the first time. We cannot turn back the time, but we can feel like we a re young again, even if we are older.
The nature was damaged by artificial things. Not by the earthquake or the tsunami. Somehow we always manage to destroy nature or kill someone with the wrong ideas. The world is now polluted all over. It is about time we understand that a local pollution has consequences on the whole planet.

Japanese people used to live in harmony with nature, and respect it. But we have forgotten how important nature is. Only children seem to still be able to connect with nature, feel it directly.
That is why I would like to connect with nature as if I was a child. That\'s the meaning of this song. I got influenced by Le Clézio's book L'enfant de sous le pont. »

The sleeve of the record was cooked exclusively by two very talented artists. Tetsu Tanigawa developped a logo for Motomitsu, based on his name written in katakana, the most geometric of the three Japanese writing systems. Sumiko Endo from nanoca design created a series of folding papers, following the Japanese tradition of wrapping objects beautifully in papers with elegant patterns. This sleeve is the second of a complete series imagined by Motomitsu and these two artists for his releases, with special limited editions available in France and in Japan.

It's a mix of traditional Japanese music, Deep House, Eurotech, Detroit House, French Pop, Brazilian drums and something else. Laurent and Motomitsu started with some traditional Japanese instruments and added layers of effects and percussions. We think it's very unique and everyone who heard it so far finds it very beautiful. Curious?
