 | Laurent & Lewis's track "Motion" got chosen as the best song of the Demolition contest saturday the 20th at the Amsterdam Dance Event by DJ and techno gods Dave Clarke (UK) and Kevin Saunderson (Detroit, Michigan), and by the Dutch DJ Dylan Hermelijn.  Just released by a brand new record label, Cherry Juice Recordings (a sub-label from Wallshaker Music, Detroit), "Motion" is co-produced by Detroit House diva Aaron-Carl and Amsterdam politician of French origin Laurent Chambon. "Motion" has been released digitally and on vinyl 12" record. The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most important electronic and dance music event in Europe. The Demolition contest is very feared, since DJs judging are merciless.
Laurent & Lewis is an Amsterdam-based duet made of American-Portuguese Lewis de Janeiro and Frenchman Laurent Chambon. They have been performing in the underground scenes of Amsterdam, Paris and Oslo. Their music is a mix of European melodies with a strong American groove. They have already remixed very different artists like Youssou N'dour (Senegal), Aaron-Carl (Detroit), Pacha Hristova (Bulgaria) or Mariza (Portugal). |
