Espace plastique is the original soundtrack of a visual and sound installation realized by DJ Janine (music), Tamiyo (chant, dance) and Pierre Marly (visuals) in 2009.
« With this installation, the artists question the origin of our social link, our fear/attraction for the Others and our cultural programming in a singular space. Through 3 non-figurative short scenes, DJ Janine orchestrates the discovery of imaginary and familiar elsewheres to lead us towards the inexpressible going beyond the simple mechanical vision of modern art. »
DJ Janine (1942) is a veteran of the French Techno scene, idol of Disco and the Rave movement. Tamiyo is a performer/poet originally from Hokkaido, the Japanese island of shamen and spirits of nature. Pierre Marly is a French designer and graphic artist living in Reykjavík (Iceland).
